A Slice of The Bellarine

‘A Slice of The Bellarine’

Producer:  Melinda Clarke         Illustrator:  Deborah Young-Monk

We set about creating this small slice of The Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria to show it’s visual relationship to Geelong and Melbourne.   In April 2016 Port Phillip Ferries started their ferry service, connecting people and experiences between Docklands and Portarlington and they will soon be launching their ferry service between Geelong and Docklands.

We love the Bellarine Peninsula and often use the ferry service, so as map makers we thought we would share this sketch.

This print has created quite some interest, and has encouraged us to work on a comprehensive illustrated map of The Bellarine Peninsula which will be complete by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
