Wow, what a great follow up to the Melbourne Map. Both the Brisbane and Sydney Maps are challenging but equally rewarding upon completion. The odd shaped pieces is what makes it more of a challenge. Thank you for providing a high quality product with a beautiful picture
Hi Scott,
Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed our puzzles. We have them made by a fabulous Australian Manufacturer and we're really pleased with the excellent quality of the puzzle pieces.
Kind regards Melinda
I don’t do jigsaws, I made an exception with the bird’s-eye panorama of Brisbane in 1888. I had to have it. Wonderful - until I realised how hard it is. Devilishly difficult. I’m research the life of the man who made the panorama - W A Clarson.
He made three other panoramas: Brisbane in 1881, Wollongong in 1887 and Grafton 1888. Anyway, thank you for the brain teaser. Arrived quickly, beautifully packaged, affordable - what more do you want. Well done The Melbourne Map.
P.S. Alfred Clarson was from Melbourne. His father, William, was a founder of Clarson, Massina & Co., the famous Melbourne publishing company.
Hi Eric, Thank you for your review! Sorry, not sorry for the degree of difficulty. :)
And thank you for all the extra info on Alfred Clarson. His illustrations are just beautiful and this Brisbane one is a favourite of mine. I'm glad you liked our Australian Made jigsaw, we are so pleased to discover Qpuzzles in Queensland who make all our puzzles now.
Kind regards, Melinda
It was great to see a different geography created as a jig saw. I bought this for my Queensland based Dad and he will love it!
Thank you Wendy. We love vintage maps, they actually inspired our map making adventures and this Brisbane one is a beauty. Thanks for supporting our business, we really appreciate it.
