This enormous same size as original, is the final version of the line drawing from 1991. The culmination of years of commitment and vision to document Melbourne for the first time since the 1880's.
There were only 25 of these screen prints expertly produced by Larry Rawlings. Copies are in the National Library and private collections, with only a couple left for sale.
This unique historical documentation of Melbourne in the 90's went on to be beautifully hand-coloured by Heather Potter and Mark Jackson and later published as a poster. The Melbourne Map became the bestselling poster of all time and a highly coveted jigsaw puzzle.
