Deborah Young Monk (artist) and I have been working on The Bellarine Map for over two years now. It has been an absolute joy to research, and visit every nook and cranny of this beautiful peninsula.
I've been living on The Bellarine since 1997 and Deborah has been holidaying in Indented Head with her family for nearly 20 years. After the completion of The Melbourne Map illustration we turned our minds to creating this new map and document another of our favourite places in the world.
The illustration is almost complete and we hope to print the first black & white version in March 2021.
In the interim we have been fortunate to create a working exhibition of the illustration. Our exhibition space has been sponsored by a local business (Neville Richards Real Estate) and Deborah will be illustrating for five days in the main street of Portarlington.

We'll be there everyday from 10am (ish) to 5pm from Friday 22nd to Tuesday 26th January.
